AI Import

Under Collect → Import paste a link to any public page that shows customer reviews or testimonials, a review platform profile, a Whop or community page, an Apple Podcasts page, or any custom URL. AI reads the page and extracts the testimonials as a list; you pick which ones to import.

Many review platforms embed their reviews as structured data (schema.org), so TrustFuel reads those directly, for free, no key needed. For pages without structured data, AI Import falls back to your own OpenAI key (connect it under AI Studio), so you stay in control of cost and data. Some platforms block automated server access entirely; there, export your reviews and use the CSV import. Always skim the extracted list before importing.

CSV import

Under Collect → Import upload a CSV with the columns name and quote (required) plus optional email, rating, date and tag. Up to 500 rows per import. Rows with an email are linked to existing contacts automatically.

Bringing reviews in from a platform that blocks automated import

Some review platforms block automated access, so AI Import cannot read them directly. You can still bring those reviews into TrustFuel in a few minutes:

  1. Log into your account on that platform.
  2. Export or copy your reviews. Business accounts on most platforms offer a review export (often CSV or Excel) in their dashboard or settings. If there is no export, simply copy the reviewer name, the review text, the star rating and the date.
  3. Open the CSV template. On the Import page, click Download CSV template. It has the columns name, quote, rating, date, email, tag.
  4. Paste your reviews into the template, one review per row. Only name and quote are required; the rest are optional.
  5. Upload the file with the CSV import. Everything lands as pending, so you review and approve before anything goes live. Tip: put a value like Imported in the tag column to filter the whole batch later.

This works for any platform, including ones that block AI Import.

Google reviews

Enter your Google Place ID and TrustFuel pulls the reviews Google exposes through its API. Heads-up: Google returns at most 5 reviews per place, for your full history, export them and use the CSV import.

Everything lands as pending

Imports never publish automatically. Review them under Manage → Testimonials, approve the good ones, and tag whole batches (imports from Google are tagged “Google” automatically).
